Tinawon rice is a type of heirloom rice that is native to the Cordillera region of the Philippines. It is known for its distinct flavor and aroma. Often used in traditional Filipino dishes. 

HOW TO PREPARE:

Ingredients:
2 cups tinawon rice
3 cups water
Salt (to taste)

1. Rinse the rice in a fine-mesh strainer until the water runs clear. This removes excess starch and helps prevent the rice from sticking together.

2. In a pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Add the tinawon rice and stir.

3. Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked and tender.
