Balatinao | Balantinaw Rice - order price / 5 kilos

It is a type of Black rice from the Mountain Province in the Philippines. It is also known as Ominio rice. 

HOW TO PREPARE:

1. Wash and soak the rice for at least 6 hours or overnight.

2. Cook it in a pot with water and salt over medium-high heat until the water is absorbed, and the rice is tender.

3. You can also use a rice cooker if you have one. 

Balitinao rice can be eaten plain or with toppings like cheese, salted egg, or coconut milk.
